FINAL SALE.

Unusual for its narrow 15-inch depth and exceptional deep relief on its hand-carved solid paneled sides, this 18th century hand pegged walnut bibliothèque, vitrine, or bookcase features handblown glass in the upper doors. Fitted with iron fiche hinges and escutcheons, this piece has two adjustable shelves in the upper section and one shelf in the lower cabinet that allow for display space as well as ample storage. It is crowned with a hand-carved cornice and stands on cabriole legs. The handsome tones of the walnut in this versatile piece is sure to add warmth to any interior. One key, circa 1780.
