The embroidered textile is carefully applied to a linen substrate and bordered with a traditional linen-covered mat board. This product is available in our lucite frame. Our signature gold St. Frank plate is featured in the bottom right-hand corner of each piece. The framed dimensions are 28.5" W x 27" H.

This vintage St. Frank piece was created in Uzbekistan. The Lakai people are a sub-tribe of the Uzbek who did not embrace Islam and maintain the traditions of mountain horseman. The abstract animal and vegetable symbols of their vibrant free-style embroidery often reflect their ancient way of life. The all-over design, with dense embroidery, shows off a free flowing energy characteristic of Lakai textiles.
