Oh, Baby: 5 Ways to Create the Ultimate Nursery

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we’re dedicating this post to the nesting moms. Creating a sanctuary for your bébé is an important task, so we’ve gathered a few tips to help you through the process.

1. Pattern Play. A nursery is the perfect place to let loose with pattern and color. These playful elements create texture and discovery for your little. Start with a colorful foundation, such as wallpaper (for nurseries, we especially love our Indigo Dots and Kuba Cloth in Terracotta); layer on custom floor cushions and an upholstered rocking chair with our fabric by the yard; top it off with a pattered rug, blankets, toys.

2. Get Wild. We love adding exotic animals to keep baby company. We use our Emberá animal masks from Panama as wallhangings and the perfect pop of color and whimsy.
